Finishing carpenter

Fine Edge Woodworking Ltd. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finishing Carpenter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and finishing of interior woodwork in residential and commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
• Install interior doors, baseboards, casings, window trims, and crown mouldings.
• Install closet shelving, hardware, handrails, and other finish carpentry components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of finish carpentry experience.
• Strong knowledge of finish carpentry techniques and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Experience installing doors, trim, mouldings, and hardware.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry construction materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in residential new-home construction.
• Knowledge of stair and railing installation.
• Ability to operate finish carpentry equipment safely and efficiently.
