1947 Pontiac Streamliner
Description
1947 Pontiac STREAMLINER
Selling AS IS
Not sure how many KM on the vehicle but roughly 60,000km seems right
Excellent classic car for anybody looking to have an easier restoration project!
Very little rust on the car, Just on the roof near (But not touching) the windshield, and the same but near the back window.
A little hole in the rear quarter panel, seems like paint filler of some kind has fallen out. However the hole is not all the way through and the body underneath is pretty clean.
All original parts are there for the body including bumpers, and chrome strips, all of which has been re chromed.
The car was build with a flat 6 motor with a 3 on the tree manual transmission. However it all has been swapped. It now has a rebuilt Chevy 350 Small Block V8, with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission to match. The original shifter is there however it was converted to work with the automatic, instead of having a floor shifter. The rear end (Differential, rear axle, break drums, etc) has also been swapped. Not sure what car it was taken from but it isn't the original on the car.
The car needs the exhaust done on it, as there is no exhaust on the car. And new interior. We have the original seats in it but they are pretty beat up. They should be able to be reupholstered however.
Overall this car is in really good shape for the year! The underside is basically mint condition, besides some dirt and grime, no rust on the door, or the frame of the car, and most of the electrics work as well!
$8,500 to take the car OBO, any questions feel free to send me a message! I will respond as soon as I can.
