Warkentin Greenscapes is looking to add another employee to our team. We specialize Landscaping and Mini Excavating.
We are looking for someone to join our landscaping crew. Having a driver’s license would be preferred. It would also be an asset if they had equipment operating experience as well, as will be opertunities for running equipment such as mowers, trimmers, skid steers, etc., but willing to train the right individual.
We are looking for a dedicated individual that is willing to work out in heat of the summer. Will also involve manual labor so must be physically fit. Must be able to lift at least 50lb as needed through out the day.
Competitive Wages paid. Position is available immediately. Full time work for the summer/ fall season and may have year round work for the right individual. Would also consider a part time employee as well if that worked better on employee’s end.

Daily Responsibilities:
- Load and unload Product on the Production Line; lifting up to 30lbs
- Sticker bags, clamshells and produce boxes with appropriate labels

Ensure quality specifications are maintained, including correct:

- Color & condition

Qualifications:

Job Overview
Our supervisors play a key role in completing day-to-day greenhouse vegetable operations to ensure the necessary produce is harvested and packaged to meet customer orders and standards. It is the Supervisor’s responsibility to ensure that employees apply proper plant maintenance for successful plant growth, picking and packing for quality production. Fast paced environment, repetitive task, handling heavy boxes, bending, crouching, kneeling, attention to detail
Must have own transportation
The work site is hot, confined space and wet/damp at times
Experience is an asset but not required
