Math and Physics tutor (online and in person)
Description
I have done my B.Sc. in electrical engineering, my M.Sc. in Pure Mathematics, and I am a current neuroscience PhD student at the University of Lethbridge. I have been tutoring since I was in high school, and I have acquired decent experience to help students with their needs. I have taught Calculus, Linear Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equations, Elementary Number Theory, Combinatorics, Statistics, Probability, and all high school grades math and Physics. I have also been a teaching assistant for different courses during my master and PhD program. I have tutored many students with diverse backgrounds and, therefore, I have acquired a good understanding of students' needs which help me to tutor them better.
I am passionate about teaching and helping students. It is so rewarding for me to help students understand concepts with which they have been struggling for a long time, or help them to look at a problem from a different perspective. I see tutoring as a learning opportunity for myself as well. It teaches me how to communicate my knowledge and how to take different strategies for different problems. I see tutoring as a dynamic interactive process which has always something new for me.
Before I forget, I charge 40 CAD/hour for high school- and 50 CAD/hour for university-level courses.
