Math and Physics tutor (online and in person)
Description
I hold a B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering, an M.Sc. in Pure Mathematics, and a PhD in neuroscience. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Lethrbidge. My journey as a tutor began during high school, and over the years, I've gained substantial experience in supporting students. My teaching repertoire includes subjects such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equations, Elementary Number Theory, Combinatorics, Statistics, Probability, Electrical Circuits, MATLAB programming, and all levels of high school math and Physics. Additionally, I've served as a teaching assistant for various courses throughout my master's and doctoral programs, providing me with a deep understanding of the diverse needs of students.
I am deeply passionate about teaching and assisting students. There's immense satisfaction in helping students grasp challenging concepts they've struggled with or encouraging them to approach problems from fresh perspectives. Tutoring is a two-way learning process for me, honing my communication skills and strategies for different problems. It's a dynamic and ever-evolving exchange of knowledge.
My tutoring rates are 40 CAD per hour for high school-level courses and 50 CAD per hour for university-level courses.
