Position Type: Part Time (with potential for Full Time)
Puppy Luv Paradise Ltd. is a female driven business that specializes in providing pet grooming, dog day care and dog training services to Lloydminster Area since 2016. We are committed to providing our two and four-legged clients with a safe, caring and knowledgeable experience while upholding high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the owner and will assist with greeting all clients (both two and four legged), promptly answering telephone calls or returning voicemails, scheduling appointments, replying to emails and social media messages, invoicing, pricing and entering new products while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for everyone. Other duties will include but are not limited to assisting day care specialists and groomers as required. While new hire(s) will be trained, the skills listed below are what we will be looking for in applicants.
Required Skills for this Position:
- High School Diploma
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong attention to detail and interest in the pet care industry
- Knowledge of dog and cat breeds, with ability to understand dog body language
- Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds and ages
- Physically able to be on your feet (expect 15,000+ steps per day) and lift 40lbs +
- Maintain a cheerful and positive attitude while working independently and as a team
- Customer service focused with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Social Media Savvy (Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat)
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Docs
- Available within our work hours of Monday to Friday 7am-6pm and able to open (arrive by 6:45am) or close (6:30pm) as needed.
Additional Skills Helpful to this Position
- Previous experience in office administration, animal training or handling etc is an asset
- Experience taking decent quality photos with knowledge of minimal photo editing
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
