M.C. Quantock in Lloydminster is looking for a full-time employee to join our team on the ranch. Every day is different with day-to-day tasks of feeding cattle, herd health, pen checking, fencing and more. We grass calve 1000 cows and use horses for much of our cattle work. This is a great chance to learn about the bull business, genetics, nutrition, rotational grazing and sales, and work alongside a veterinarian/rancher and a great crew of 4-5 guys. We don't produce our own feed, so there isn't much farming involved - we work exclusively with cows. If you are mechanically inclined, there is some equipment operation and opportunity to do maintenance of cattle feeding and other equipment. A drivers license is required and Class 1 is an asset but not required. We are only a 10 minute drive from Lloydminster, so lots of amenities and housing nearby. While we are looking for a full-time permanent employee, we would also consider seasonal help. If you know anyone who might be interested, please send a resume or simply call or email Mac for more info at 1-780-875-8167 or mcquantock@hotmail.com
