Adult Children Of Alcoholic And Dysfunctional Families Meeting
Description
Is there a history of alcoholism, addiction, mental illness, divorce, neglect, abandonment, or abuse in your childhood? The survival traits we learned as powerless children growing up in an alcoholic/dysfunctional family often handicap as as adults. The effects of such an upbringing can be devastating. Adult Children of Alcoholic/Dysfunctional Families (ACA) is for those wishing to recover from those effects. Weekly meetings for study, discussion and sharing in a safe and supportive environment of a non-judgmental adult child community are on Tuesdays at 7:00 -8:15 pm at Luke's Place 1204 Richmond Street, London, Ontario. ACA is a free 12 step support group that is funded by voluntary member donations. For further information, literature, and contact and meeting details go to adultchildren.org or respond to this advert.
