Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Kitchen Assistant / Indian Bread Maker to join our restaurant team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for an entry-level position in the restaurant industry, especially individuals with experience or interest in making Indian flatbreads such as roti, naan, paratha, kulcha, and other tandoor or griddle-based breads.
Training may be provided for the right candidate; however, basic experience in preparing Indian breads is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare and cook Indian flatbreads including roti, naan, paratha, kulcha, and chapati.
*Assist with dough preparation, kneading, rolling, and portioning.
*Operate kitchen equipment safely (tandoor experience is an asset but not mandatory).
*Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation.
*Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
*Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed.
*Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
