Full Time Arena Maintenance/Zamboni Operator
The Successful candidate will perform duties associated with the operation including ice resurfacing, refrigeration plant management, cleaning of the facility and general repairs.
Qualifications - High school diploma/GED, Class "B" refrigeration certificate and asset, certified Ice Technician certificate and asset. Additional training an asset (scissor lift, confined space, electrical safety, etc.) 2 years relevant experience and a valid Class "G" drivers license. Knowledge and understanding of safety (OSHA and WHIMIS)
Requires a criminal background check and clearance with respect to persons working with an / or association with youth and vulnerable persons.
Work Conditions - Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and shifts(day, evening and weekend shifts) Physically fit and able to work from heights, lift heavy items(approx. 40lbs) and walk and be on your feet for extended periods of time, able to work alone or with minimal supervision.
Job Type - Seasonal Full Time
Salary - $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule - 8-10 hour shifts
Day Shift approx. 6am - 4pm
Night Shift approx. 4pm - 2am
Weekends
