My goal is to de-stigmatize the more traditional approach to lessons in order to create a safe space that allows for wellness to be part of the music learning.
Lessons revolve around the goals and interests of the student, using music based on their personal taste. It’s a very collaborative process.
As lessons progress, students learn self-assessment skills that help them participate in music with confidence because of their musical knowledge and artistic autonomy.
