Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Job Description:Our client, a leader in the banking industry is seeking Administrative Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis . The right person for this position will be available to work Tuesday's and Friday's and some additional hours as required. This is a 3 month contract with the potential to extend. If selected, you will need to go to their Richmond hill office for training but will be able to work remotely after training is complete. Responsibilities: * Prepare, edit and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents * Editing and merging PDF's * Setting up payments with the bank * Entering information into the GL * Follow up on expired insurance renewals * Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information * Greet visitors and direct them to contacts or service areas * Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences * Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing system Qualifications: * 2+ years of experience in in an administrative support position * Able to work part time hours - Tuesdays and Fridays mandatory * Able to train in Richmond hill and work remotely or duration of contract * Post secondary education * Must be outgoing, friendly, patient and professional * Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills * Work well with a team, individually and under pressure * Demonstrate punctuality, maturity and reliability * Extremely detail oriented with a strong client service focus * Works well in a team environment as well as on your own * Takes initiative * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite * Easily able to learn new software * Thrives in a fast-paced environment * Welcomes a challenge Company Description At Prime Hires our mandate is simple - provide top-tier talent to our clients and unsurpassed career opportunities to our candidates while ensuring the best fit for both.
