Feeder silverfish (Ctenolepisma longicaudatum)
(IF YOU SEE THIS AD, IT IS STILL AVAILABLE. AND BEFORE YOU ASK - NO DISCOUNTS/TRADES)Grey silverfish, Ctenolepisma longicaudatum, is a cosmopolitan species that is found close to humans (in other words, they are local and legal). They normally feed on dry organic debris. If you need a small soft bodied feeder these are one of the best options available, being completely safe for your pet as they cannot bite or injure other animals. They are also hardy which makes them perfect "standby food" to leave for your pet if you are going on vacation.
Excellent for slings, velvet worms, small mantids, baby geckos, small frogs, etc'.Selling groups of 10 for $15.
If you take 100 the price will be $130.Very easy to breed and maintain. All they need is a well-ventilated enclosure with shredded paper substrate. The enclosure can be bone dry as they get all their water from air humidity and internal metabolism. They feed mostly on the paper but you can supplement with a very small slice of veggie once in every few weeks. These bugs cannot climb or walk on glass, but they can be fast so caution is advised.
Price is firm, low-ballers will be ignored. I am not under pressure to sell, so please take your time. Pick up in Port Credit, Mississauga. All sales are final. No Refunds. No trades. No discounts. No price-shaming.

We took him in because he was living in a very tiny cage with no area to run in. We've had him for 2yrs now.

Giant Mexican whip spider - Acanthophrynus coronatus babies
(IF YOU SEE THIS AD, IT IS STILL AVAILABLE. AND BEFORE YOU ASK - NO DISCOUNTS/TRADES)I have babies of Acanthophrynus coronatus to offer, hatched in June 2022. Very healthy and feed well on small crickets and other soft prey. This species is absolutely stunning and long-lived (whip spiders can easily live for over 10 years). It is considered the holy grail species of Amblypygi thanks to its size, colors, and undemanding husbandry. Very showy animal that is great for displays. This is a tropical arachnid, so it needs high air humidity and temperatures. They take about 2-3 years to become adults. Main photo shows current size. Photo of adult *for illustration purposes only*, adult NOT for sale.
Selling for $200 each. Yes, it is pricey, but that's as good as it gets for a whip spider.
Price is firm, low-ballers will be ignored. I am not under pressure to sell, so please take your time. Pickup in Port Credit, Mississauga.
All sales are final. No Refunds. No trades. No discounts. No price-shaming.

Sonoran whip spider - Paraphrynus carolynae adult pair
(IF YOU SEE THIS AD, IT IS STILL AVAILABLE. AND BEFORE YOU ASK - NO DISCOUNTS/TRADES)I have one adult pair of Paraphrynus carolynae to offer, captive bred by me (hatched in 2019). Very healthy and feed well on crickets and other soft prey. This is an uncommon species in the Canadian hobby, I would rather see them going to someone with long term breeding in mind! This species is absolutely stunning and long-lived (whip spiders can easily live for over 10 years). It has some of the best coloration I've seen on a whip spider: jet black with red legs. It is also a great species for handling as it feels quite comfortable in our hands. Great for kids or for educational programs. It tolerates various conditions but ideally air humidity needs to be high.
Selling the pair for $250.

I can offer some velvet worms (Epiperipatus Barbadensis), a beautiful species that is easy to take care of provided that you give it high humidity and a place to hide. It can be kept in a planted vivarium, but also does well on a moist substrate with some moss or decomposing wood for hiding. These predators are fascinating to watch not only for their strange appearance but also for their unique hunting technique: shooting sticky slime at their prey. They feed on soft bodies insects and arachnids. The velvet worms are communal and will not attack each other despite being predators. They will often share meals together.

Thorichthys maculipinnis or commonly referred to as the "Spot Cheek" cichlid.
A very colorful cichlid from the genus as the popular Firemouth. A very dramatic fish in the scientific world. There is some debate over whether T. ellioti and T. maculipinnis are the same species, and if they are, whether T. ellioti or T. maculipinnis is the correct name. We received these as T. maculipinnis, and that's what we're selling them as.
These fish do well in shoals of 6 or more. They like to dig through the substrate looking for food and building nests to spawn. Like most cichlids, they can become hyper aggressive when they're in spawning mode, so having a second tank to separate them is a good idea. In the wild they pick through the substrate eating little invertebrates. They're readily eating just about any food we throw into the tank.
Will do well in most planted aquariums, but when foraging it might dig a little through the substrate looking for food. It is not known to be a predator, but it will eat small fish if the opportunity arises. This fish should be kept with fish, such as medium size cichlids such as, Severums, Angelfish, Geophagus, larger tetras and most catfish that grow larger than 1.5", ex.: smaller fish might get picked on if they are too small.
This is a fish that is considered a good beginner's cichlid. This fish will do well in medium to hard alkaline water and temperature of 74 F to 85 F, and Ph of 7 to 8.
Minimum Purchase of 6 Fish at 1" each. Quantity discounts available. Check out other fish available on Kijiji or at www.aquarium.biz

(IF YOU SEE THIS AD, IT IS STILL AVAILABLE. AND BEFORE YOU ASK - NO DISCOUNTS/TRADES)I have one adult pair (guaranteed) of Asian forest scorpions (Heterometrus silenus, aka petersii) for sale, captive bred by me, very healthy and of good size. Always feeding well without issues. I keep them separately even though they can be kept communally. They are ready for breeding! If you're thinking about breeding this beautiful species, this is your best chance.
They are super docile and good for handling. Excellent for educational activities with kids.Selling for $250. They are to be sold *as a pair only*.
Why the high price, you ask? I'm giving you an animal with a valid species identity, guaranteed sex, and a known history (unlike most Asian forest scorpions that are being sold with an unknown origin and species name).
