Meet the Parents
Rose (Mother)
• Breed: Labrador Husky (2 years old)
• About Rose: A highly intelligent, affectionate, and energetic adventurer. She thrives on attention and has a nurturing personality. Great with kids and other dogs (big or small). Rose rarely barks or howls but sheds heavily twice a year when she blows out her coat. Historically bred for strength and endurance, Labrador Huskies are known for excelling in harsh climates and intense tasks like search-and-rescue operations. Rose is easy to train but requires consistency to master commands.
Labrador Husky which is native to coastal Labrador Canada. It belongs to the northern group of dogs, which include the Siberian Husky, Samoyed, Alaskan Malamute and Canadian Eskimo Dog. The breed was most likely brought to Labrador by the Thule Inuit around 1300 AD and introduced to the Dorsets. The dogs were used as sled dogs to carry heavy loads. Inuits first lived in Alaska (900 - 1000 AD). Over the centuries, the Labrador's ancestor had become cut off geographically from the other northern breeds. To maintain the desired qualities of strength, vigor, stamina and intelligence inherent in their dogs, the descendants of the Thule Inuit had allowed the Labrador to breed with the native wolf populations. This practice continued until the invention of the snowmobile, when dogs were no longer needed to pull heavy loads.
Romeo (Father)
• Breed: Rottweiler (German & American Mix, 3 years old)
• About Romeo: A super protective and loving “gentle giant” with a silly, relaxed demeanor. He’s great with other dogs (including small breeds) and good with children. Romeo needs slow introductions with strangers due to his timid nature but thrives with firm, consistent training. Known for his growling affection, which may seem intimidating but is harmless. Note: Romeo has a chicken/poultry allergy.
