Farm Hand / Farm Equipment Operator

Location: 15 mins West of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan
Wage: $30.00–$50.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications; negotiated at time of hire)

We are a multi-generational family farm located west of Moose Jaw, operating approximately 10,000 acres of cultivated land and a 250-head commercial cattle herd. We run up to date and well-maintained equipment. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in doing quality work.
This is a full-time position that offers a variety of responsibilities throughout the year. No two days are exactly the same.
What You'll Do
• Operate and maintain farm equipment
• Haul grain and agricultural products
• Assist with seeding, spraying, haying, and harvest operations
• Perform general shop and yard duties
• Complete light mechanical repairs and equipment maintenance
• Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling
• Carry out general labour tasks as required
• Work safely in a fast-paced agricultural environment
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications:
• Class 1A driver's licence (strongly preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of experience operating heavy-duty machinery and/or farm equipment
• Experience hauling grain or agricultural products
• Mechanical aptitude and basic repair skills
• Experience working with cattle is an asset but not a requirement

• Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
• Commitment to safety and equipment care
Working Conditions:
This position requires working outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions. Candidates must be comfortable:
• Operating large machinery and equipment
• Working in noisy environments
• Performing physical labour
• Working extended hours during busy seasons when required
