Moose Jaw’s Hamilton Flats Mixed Slo-pitch is seeking someone to fill a summer maintenance position for the maintenance of our ball diamonds & green space in Moose Jaw. This person must be an independent worker, who is handy and familiar with operating equipment (Mower, Weed whacker, Quad, skid steer). Criminal Record Check will be required.
Payment: $16/hour, 20 hours/week, for 18 weeks. Additional hours may be allocated for our tournament weekends May 27-28 & August 26-27.Duties:
• Mowing of all diamonds (1-12) as required.
• Dragging done daily on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays.
• Heavy Harrowing every 2 weeks (weather dependent). To keep control of infield weeds.
• Spot Spraying and keeping control of weeds at diamonds, play structure, beer gardens and around shack.
• Gopher population & hole control (Please note any holes to attempt clearing of gopher population)
• Weekly Garbage Cleanup, collect and transport to dumpster.
• Weekly submissions of dates and hours worked with brief description of jobs done that day.
• General repair on items on the diamonds. (Benches, Fences, base tie downs etc)
• Any additional tasks agreed upon by the maintenance committee & the maintenance person.A typical weekly schedule may consist of:

Tuesday: Mow 3 diamonds in the morning and drag all infields.
Wednesday: Mow 3 diamonds in the morning and drag all infields.
Thursday: Mow 3 diamonds in the morning and drag all infields.
Friday: Mow green spaces as needed (park, alongside the road, behind each diamond fence etc.)
Mowing dependent on weather, late summer heat and lack of rain will mean less mowing.

Doell farms is a family operated grain farm located 30 kms west of Davidson Sk. And 35 kms north east of Lake Diefenbaker/Elbow SK. We are looking to hire a full time and or seasonal worker starting April 1st. Duties would include but not limited to operating all types of farm machinery ( air drill , sprayer, roller, harrow, combine, grain cart), daily maintenance, repairs and other farm related duties. Class 5 license required but class 1 would be asset to help with hauling grain and water. Must be willing to work extended hours during busy times like seeding and harvest. Wanted Seasonal Fulltime Campground/Cabin Cleaner and Yard Worker.
Required immediately. Prompt interview. The time frame does not allow for long distance relocation.
Position is from May to Oct. Wages start at $16/hr but are negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience. Increases with performance.
Hours and Days will vary but guarantee 160 hours/month for May, June, July and Aug. Sept and Oct may be less. Possibly work in April. MUST be able to work weekends.
Work site is located about 12 miles from Moose Jaw so a reliable vehicle is a must. There is no accommodation for employees.
Duties include 1) cleaning of cabins, kitchen, washrooms, halls, BBQ area, firepit area.
and 2) occasional light yardwork such as mowing, trimming grass, trimming trees, gardening.
Qualifications are 1) be thorough, able to identify what must be done and follow instructions.
and 2) be willing to operate or be trained, if necessary, to operate required equipment including zero turn mower, grass trimmer, chain saw, roto-tiller, small tractor with front end loader.
and 3) are physically able to do light manual labor.
MAY develop into yearly position.

We are a modern family-owned certified organic grain farm with cattle located near Wood Mountain, in South-Central Saskatchewan. We are a Regenerative Organic certified farm that uses techniques such as reduced tillage, intercropping, cover cropping, pollinator strips and rotational grazing to improve the health and functionality of our soils.

We are looking for a part time person to help out with seeding and harvest. Class 1A and farm experience are a must. Farm located approx 15 miles east of Moose Jaw. Excellent wages for somebody qualified and willing to work during the busy seasons. Most likely tasks would be hauling seed/ fertilizer in the spring and running a grain cart in the fall. Would consider expanded roll for the right applicant.
