7yo mini gelding
We originally got Caliber as a companion, but no longer have that horse. I really like this little guy, so I will be picky where he goes. He was a leadline pony before we bought him.
UTD on worming, vax, coggins. Missed the last farrier appt due to weather.
Sweet and friendly, with hardly any pony sass.
Absolutly loves chin scratches.
Great with his feet and for the farrier.
Stands tied well.
Good for vaccinating, deworming, grooming, clipping, and blanketing.
No maintenance or soundness issues.
Easy to catch.
Lives outside 24/7, only stalledduring extreme weather.
Had a very basic start on ground driving as I planned to turn him into a cart pony after being needed as a companion. Easy to bridle and put the harness on.
He would do best with a family with kids to love on him, or someone experienced to further his training to be a cart pony.
He's OK at lunging, much better loose in a round pen then on a line.
I've sent him over some jumps in the round pen and he seems to like that.
I have done some clicker training with him.
Lives with our two full sized geldings and gets turned out with cows.
Has been ponied behind our horses.
He's on the nervous side and takes a while to warm up and settle in.
Will need a refresher on spray bottles and more work with bathing to learn it's not scary.
Will come with halter, halter with grazing muzzle, and rain sheet.
