Land, house, garage at Johnsons Landing, BC
Description
I created a large garden that is now weedy because we moved to Kaslo several years ago. One photo shows the view from the road another shows Kootenay Lake which is 5 minutes away by car. Another shows the entrance view with garage and house in the back ground. There are seven buildings including a block of cement that was supposed to become a winter green house, plus 2 greenhouses structures that need the plastic redone. A few pics of what my garden looked like. Lots of saskatoons, currant, blueberries and grape bushes and several rows of iris's. Another shows the 8 solar panels with 3 large batteries inside the back porch. I have included photos using goggle map and another showing land numbers. The watering system was upgraded several years ago with taps everywhere. The garage has a cement floor with 2 bays plus the main area with a wood stove. Plus a small trailer. There is a Princess wood stove in the house. a chicken coop, walnut and apple trees. The land is in the ALR (Agricultural Land Regions) which changed rules a few years ago, now 2 families can have a house on one piece of land. Lots of potential if you are hard working as the place needs fixing up. If you want details go to Assessment BC data...go to- Roll, click...creston rural..type in...05667.100

It is one hour from Kaslo, on the other side of the lake. Drive towards Cooper/Meadow Creek, turn at bridge and travel south on a dirt road for half an hour. The KIN network has high speed internet installed if you work from home. We are minutes from the Johnsons Landing Retreat Center. There is a Community Hall nearby with opportunities for get to know the 50 people who live in the area. Closest school is 45 minutes. Amazingly quiet. A piece of paradise. Great if you want to raise animals, they would clean up the weeds and tall grass.
