We purchased a 122 acre cut-block above McKean Rd in 2021 and paid a bit too much because interest rates were low then and someone told us that real estate only appreciates. We paid. $310,000 (see attached BC Assessment)
Our solution is to sell you a 1/4 share of the cut block for $200,000. Yes, it is more than half of what we paid, but real estate only goes up!
Typically, a professional would subdivide this hilly, shady, cut block but it would require us to find water on your far-end of the cut block, which we can't. You can always harvest rain water!
I just dropped my ask from $250,000 so don't miss out on this opportunity. If you want, you can always do what we are doing and find someone else who wants to pay for 75% of your $200,000 by offering them 25% of the land. They can also do this, and so on. A win, win, win (except for the last person)
