The ideal candidate will have experience working in dealership settings or automotive repair shops, possess mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable using various hand and power tools. Duties:
Remove and replace automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows, ensuring proper fit and seal.
Inspect vehicles for existing damage or issues related to glass installation.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform installations efficiently and safely.
Perform heavy lifting of glass components and assist with the handling of large or awkward parts.
Ensure all installations meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding service procedures and timelines.
Keep detailed records of work performed for each vehicle.
Qualifications:
Previous dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred.
Mechanical knowledge with familiarity using hand tools, power tools, and other automotive equipment.
Experience with heavy lifting related to automotive glass components.
Strong attention to detail to ensure precise installation and quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of automotive systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and adhere to safety protocols.
