The unit is nicely furnished, AC throughout the entire unit. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a large private terrace (with gas BBQ), one bedroom on the second floor (king size bed), with master bath and balcony overlooking the ocean and second bedroom (also king size bed) on lower level with a full bath and small kitchenette/bar (this can be an excellent choice for two couples vacationing together). Playa Dorada is a 6 unit gated condo development built by a North American builder, north of Bahia de Caraquez and about 5 km south of Canoa, Ecuador. The condos sit directly on the beach. Simply unlock the gate and the beach is there. Sitting on the balcony, enjoy the view of the ocean, the locals bringing in their catch, spectacular sunsets and a beautiful infinity pool which appears to drop into the Pacific Ocean.
The condo comes complete with 3 air conditioners, all furniture as seen in the photos, a fully equipped kitchen, linens, washer, dryer, high speed internet, flat screen smart TV.
Next to the infinity pool is a covered gazebo complete with a propane BBQ, tables, chairs and a sink with running water. Enjoy cooking with low cost shrimp & fish from the local fishermen and an abundant supply of vegetables from the markets. Relax around the pool and enjoy the sunshine and tropical vegetation.
The condo and grounds are non-smoking. Electrical plug-ins are 110 V, as in North America. Plumbing in our condo is to North American standards so toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet which is not the norm in Ecuador.

We've successfully run Short-Term-Vacation rentals (through VRBO (#498103), AirBnB and privately) for all years of our ownership. If you are looking to offset home ownership costs, we have a good history, 5-star reviews and repeat vacationers.

I am placing this Ad for a friend of mine who owns this lovely Villa in Cancun as her English is limited.
I speak from experience when I say that this Villa is the best and yet most affordable Villa in the neighborhood. Firstly, it is a gated community with guards at 2 entrances. They are there 24/7. Not that you will need it, as it is a very safe neighborhood in a middle class neighborhood. Just outside the main gates (3 minute walk) is a "Six", Oxxo and 711 within 5 minute walk from gate. They all sell beer and alchohol. Sundays they close at 5pm for any alchohol. A 10 minute walk gets you to Soriana's plaza. And 15 minutes to Walmart. There is a great restaurant called "Mr Lasagna". Honestly, the best Lasagna and pizza I've had. Also great chinese food in the Soriana Mall. This is for those who don't particularly like Mexican food. Of course there are great Mexican restaurants just a walk away. Everything you need is in the studio. For those of us on a budget, it's great. Large fridge in each studio. Electic stove, microwave, pots, pans and utensils. Towels, clean linens provided. Toilet paper (2 rolls) so you have to buy your own aferwards. Air conditioning in all rooms. And the best thing is TV and GREAT WIFI. Oh ya....... the POOL right in the backyard is heaven! You CANNOT smoke in the unit but there are tables and chairs and ashtrays right outside your unit. My friend has listings on A i r b n b. However, if you would like to avoid the taxes and fees you can contact her directly. If you have any questions at all, just ask me. I have vacationed here for 6 years and have been 12 times. Just ask me. I have added the pictures on her website but also a few of my own. At this time of year (high season) she only charges $33/night and up to $42/night approximately. The larger room can sleep more than 2.
