I will be doing a work term at Woodland Nurseries from February 5th until February 18th and need a ride back and forth. If anyone is travelling that way from St. John's early in the morning, I would be willing to pay towards gas money to tag along. I start at 7am, and do have some anxiety about being punctual, so it is important to me that I am there on time.

Hello!
I am a 36-year-old man with ASD. I am very independent but struggle to make friends.
I love hiking, walking, being out in nature, gardening, and all things outdoors. I love animals and cats but I don’t have any pets. I work part-time. I don’t drive a vehicle. I live in St. John’s and am looking for a new apartment, as well.
I am wondering if there are other adults (male or female) who would like to get a group together for hiking the East Coast Trail or maybe walking in the park this spring and summer. We could bring a friend, family member or social worker/care worker if necessary.
Thank you!

The goal is to raise enough money so I can have enough to purchase or help with the down payment of a outdoors retreat where I can offer both for profit for the outdoors enthusiasts, but the real goal is a for charity access to an environment that would help heal or at least show those in need that there is beauty in this world, when they only see the darkness the world brought upon them. Kid's and adults. The profit part is to help pay for the people that need help to get to a place such as this or for those who don't even realize that an experience like this can be a life changing moment. I've always said if I ever won the lottery I would buy a lodge for those in need, not singling out any type of person, and help them forget and rediscover the beauty of our world, but I don't play the lottery. MY hole life I have persevered through what life has thrown at me, being abused as a child, the divorce of my parents as a young child, having to help take care of my younger siblings as my father worked odd hours and shifts to provide, the deaths of my god children and grand mother in a house fire and many injuries.
I have so much passion burning inside me for my dream I just couldn't take it anymore, so I'm reaching out to you all. I'm always saying my dream job would be to make the lives of someone who needs a restart or to help them forget about life's pain, whether a person was abused or is sick or has an addiction it doesn't matter to me I will put a smile on a face that hasn't smiled in a while, I just wants to show a person life can be good, the outdoors is a great healer as it has helped myself, so I know first hand.
I am not looking for a free ride I is willing to put his life savings to accomplish this goal, and my goal is to help someone heal from the heart, even when I was hurting on the inside I was always smiling they call me smiley because I want to make others smile.
I have given my heart , soul, blood and my health to my all employers . I have helped build Hospitals, schools, our government buildings our work places and even our homes for decades and am so proud to have contributed to society and never wanting any glory.
I literally feel other peoples pain, on so many occasions I feel it in my body when someone is hurting or feels pain, or when injured, I shed tears for those I feel merciful for, whether its in person or even on t.v.
My mother was a missionary she travelled to countries when they had disasters to help the needy, I know I have her gift of wanting to help others.
I love wild life and taking pictures of outdoor scenery, for every donation I will try to give a digital picture that I have taken for you to use at your will through an email or other
Please help us to help someone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my dream.

Are you in a romantic relationship and plan to relocate with your partner in the near future? Are you interested in being involved in psychological research? If so, then our study would be a great fit for you!
My name is Rebecca, and I am a researcher from the Relationships and Well-Being (RAW) Lab at the University of Toronto. Our lab studies romantic relationships and what factors are responsible for keeping couples healthy and happy over time.
More specifically, we are launching a study that tracks couples who are going to relocate to a different city or country for one partner’s job in the upcoming year—a growing trend in our fast-paced, mobile world. Many people report changes to their relationships during a major life transition such as relocation. We are interested in surveying couples before they relocate, during their move (i.e., brief biweekly surveys in the midst of moving), and after they have relocated (i.e., follow-up surveys 6, 9, and 12 months later) to identify factors that will help couples navigate changes throughout the relocation process. Given the longer-term commitment we require in this study, participants can earn up to $120 CAD ($240 CAD per couple) for their valuable time and efforts.
To be eligible for our study, you and your partner must be:
• At least 18 years old
• Currently living together
• Able to read and write in English
• Planning to relocate for one of your jobs/schooling in a month from now up to at the latest August 2021
• Both willing to participate in the studyIf you meet our criteria and are interested in participating in our study, we ask that you email us at utmrelocationstudy@gmail.com with the subject line “Interest in Romantic Relationships and Relocation Study”, or reply via the kijiji portal. When we reply, we will arrange a time to chat on the phone with you and your partner to confirm your eligibility. Note: your personal information will be kept strictly confidential and only used for the purposes of contacting you to confirm eligibility.
We look forward to hearing from all of the relocators out there!
With great thanks,
The RAW Lab TeamFor more information:

Now offering yoga classes that are affordable to those on a budget ($3/class), and accessible from anywhere! Typically a yoga class goes for $15-$20 per class or hundreds of dollars for a subscription making it very inaccessible to most Canadians; so join a welcoming, open and inclusive community during these isolating times and embark a unique wellness journey!
Classes will be online and recorded in case you miss it/ want to do it again! Classes will make you sweat and definitely have you activating many different parts of your body (and mind)!!! Classes will take place in the evenings of Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday afternoon!
DM or email me to sign up/with any questions! Classes will start the week of March 22nd, and you’ll receive an online link to join us live each class and to a recording! ***REGISTRATION CLOSES MARCH 21ST!!!***
A little about me: I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200hr) and graduated from a world class yoga school in Houston, Texas (USA). Additionally, I have certification in Trauma Informed Yoga and Yoga for Anxiety. I personally incorporated yoga into my life to establish balance, reduce anxiety, and improve my overall wellness! It’s fun, it’s healthy, it challenges you in the right ways, and allows you to take time out of your day to reflect inward!
Don’t be concerned about not being “flexible” enough or think that you “can’t do yoga”! I offer modifications throughout each practice and the beauty of yoga is that everyone’s journey is unique to themselves! When you join my classes you are asked to not compare yourself to any other students and to begin each session with no expectations... rather you come to each class and “feel it out” as you go (truly the beauty of the practice)!
Feel free to email with any questions!

We are conducting an online research study to better understand how social distancing is impacting people’s mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. While isolated from others, many people are using smartphones to keep in touch and engage with others. With the use of a special app, we can begin to understand how people are saying socially connected through calling, messaging, and app usage. Understanding healthy social behaviour during the pandemic can help minimize the negative consequences of social distancing. We are looking for people to join our study!
Who can Participate? We are looking for people who are ages 15 and older to participate in the study. You do not need to be diagnosed with a mental disorder to participate in the study. Everyone is welcome!
Will you be reimbursed for your time? Participants will receive $40 for filling out the questionnaires and working with our app for one month. We will ask participants to fill out questionnaires again after three months. So, if you complete the study you will receive $60.
Please register using the following link, so that we can send you more information about what it will mean to take part in the current research study: ww.covid19-prosit.info
A staff member from our research team is available to answer any questions you have about the study at our toll-free number 1-833-905-0314 or by email at PROSIT@iwk.nshealth.ca

My bandmate and I have been playing music together for years, mostly alternative rock. We have plenty of song ideas, but we’ve never been able to get the hang of writing lyrics. Everything we’ve written or released has been, for the most part, cheesy and later regretted. We’re looking for a co-writer to write some lyrics which will hopefully give our musical ideas a fresh coat of paint. Please message me if you can help. Thanks!
