1974 GMC Sierra 1500 Classic
Description
I’ve owned this truck for 3 years or so, and it has treated me quite well with the expectance of a some maintenance and repairs. I bought it as a project vehicle but now I just have no time and funds to continue.
This truck has a 5.7L 350 engine. It runs and drives but will need a battery. The other one is shot and just never bought a new one.
All the gauges work as well as the gauge lights.
The radio works.
Heater/ cooling system works.
Both dims and brights work.
Brand new tires.
Had a tune up done last summer.
Got a new master cylinder and brakes 3 years ago. Although I do believe there is a leak in the brake line on the passenger front side. Never really looked into it as I haven’t driven the truck or done any work on it since last summer.
There is a knock when you drive it. Unsure if it is a stuck lifter or an issue with the transmission body.
It has dual tanks. Both of them work.
The windshield wipers are brand new and work.
If you enjoy projects then I recommend this to you. There really isn’t a lot wrong with it mechanically but if you are into this kind of stuff you could do a small engine build (replacing gaskets and bearings or whatever you’d like). The body needs work. I’m asking $2000 obo. Please contact me for any more info. *SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY*
