Looking for:
Mare or gelding, age up to 20’s, maintenance ok as long as it’s disclosed, safe and sound, for adult for trail riding and occasional arena work. Retired ranch, family or show horses would most likely be great.
Must be 15hh+ and SAFE.
Being registered is a bonus but definitely not required. Drafts and draft crosses are welcome. “Hot” breeds (TB, Arabians) are a no go for me. Not wanting a project or something with 60 days or something that has sat for an extended period of time, unless you are willing to restart them before the pick up.
Looking for a hop on and go type - not a project, nothing spooky, looky or questionable in their life choices. Doesn’t have to be pretty or “special” - actually, the more standard and “just a good old horse”, the better.
Best home ever guaranteed in small herd and all the love and attention they can handle.
Preference to SK locations - will not buy sight unseen.
I can and will provide references if wanted. Buy back contracts totally ok. Want to be able to visit? Be my guest.
