Structural Engineering Manager
Description
Our client near Woodstock ON has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Structural Engineering Manager to join their growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for the design of quality built steel structures for their unique client base, and will also be responsible for managing a team of 4.

Responsibilities
• Provide detailed structural design calculations in accordance with current codes and standards.
• Use structural analysis software to model and design steel structures.
• Coordinate projects with internal company divisions - ie. manufacturing and installation teams.
• Manage, coach and train a team of 4 design employees.
• Attend site visits and meetings related to ongoing projects for the general review of construction.
• Review shop drawings and design details.
• Prepare written reports and structural details based on the team leader’s instructions.
Qualifications
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a structural engineering firm, with leadership experience.
• Licensed and Registered P.Eng in Ontario.
• Relevant experience with software such as Autodesk Robot, SAP2000, STAAD Pro.
• Strong knowledge in steel connection design, truss systems, and reinforced concrete foundations.
