DESCRIPTION: The Polysomnographic Tech performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis of sleep studies as well as other tasks, associated with a role of sleep technologist. REQUIREMENTS: • High School Diploma • Allied college/university degree preferred (e.g., life sciences, psychology, etc.) • Successful completion of a polysomnography program is an asset • Previous experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist is an asset • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is an asset • Excellent interpersonal, communication, proven problem solving and organizational skills • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION • Performing overnight studies-- patient hook up using 10/20 system, bio-calibration, artifact recognition, regular overnight observations, equipment disinfection, etc. • Performing overnight CPAP/BiLevel/ASV titration and administer oxygen according to the clinic’s protocol • Ensuring patient safety and maintain professional appearance of the clinic ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: • Evening Shift from 7pm to 7am • Weekend and/or holiday shifts may be required • Compensation: TBD individually • Full training will be provided if required.
