Looking for a P/T babysitter/nanny/childcare provider in Halifax

Hello wonderful community,

We are looking for a nurturing and responsible babysitter/childcare provider to look after 3 awesome and sweet kiddos aged 11, 8, and 4 years old. Location: Northwest Arm Drive, near Osborne Street. We would like someone with a few years experience and references and who lives near Halifax. Criminal record, Child abuse registry and vulnerable sector checks will be requested please. English speaking. Age: 19 +

The perfect candidate would need to provide respectful, safe, friendly and reliable care to the kids. We are looking for someone who can meet them at their bus stop at 3:20 pm and stay with them until around 5:30 pm or until a parent arrives.

It is important that our care-provider has access to transportation to arrive at the job and that they are not a smoker. We are looking for someone that focuses on the kids during this time with them, and is able to detach from social media. The weekly schedule sometimes changes depending on our work rotation, but generally would be needing someone to help from 3:20 or 3:15 pm (when the school bus gets home) until 5:30 pm. A calendar will be prepared and provided beforehand. The Safety of children is priority to us. Let us know if you have any questions.
