Melanson Motors is proud to offer this 1975 Ford F250 Highboy. It was during the fifth generation that the F250 4x4 “Highboy†was introduced. Highboy was not a specific model or official designation, but it became a well known nickname for 1967-‘77 F250 4WD models. These models had a divorced transfer case. Therefore, a factory suspension lift was required to provide clearance for the transfer case and front driveshaft. This made the truck sit higher and gave it a very tough factory lifted look. This F250 is a real F26 VIN, ¾ ton, 4-speed, 4x4 Highboy. This truck was born at the San Jose, California plant with a Pacific Canada DSO. The truck spent its whole life in Western Canada. The truck has a strong running rebuilt engine, stroked to 390 cubic inches. It has headers, an aluminum intake and Holley 4 barrel carburetor. The 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly and the truck drives well. The 4x4 works. The truck is presented in its original color of Vineyard Gold. The paint is showing its age and has many flaws. A 2WD box has been installed and the truck has a custom aluminum tailgate and back rack. The interior has been restored and features new carpet, dash pad, seat and door panels. Underneath, the truck is very solid and shows no signs of rust. The truck rides on 16 inch aluminum wheels with 265/75 BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2 tires. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a Ford F250 Highboy.

Car is still all numbers matching and factory panels with only 1 repaint in the original V code Juneau Gray Poly colour. Factory Air Conditioning was just repaired and is super cold and a new heater core was also installed. We just performed a full tune-up and maintenance package including replacing the battery, spark plugs and wires. We replaced the original date coded spark plug wires showing just how original this Oldsmobile is. 400 CI V8 Rocket engine and 4-speed standard transmission transfer the power to the 12-bolt Posi rear end with 3:23 gears. Power steering and power disc brakes options on this 442. Many new parts were just installed in the steering and suspension including tie rods, drag link and then an alignment was performed. New brakes including a new master cylinder and booster were just installed. New rims and new BF Goodrich tires were just installed. New carpet and a new reproduction steering wheel was installed, the rest of the interior is in great condition and free of rips, tears, broken or missing parts. All the chrome and trim is in great original condition. We supply a current insurance appraisal. Trade up or down on other muscle cars/trucks or late model 4X4 trucks. 1989 Firebird, THOUSANDS spent on this car. Barn find sat 10 years so everything had to be replaced such as… new fuel system, everything from the tank including the pump, filter, regulator and injectors. (TPI). News suspension parts, emergency brake cables, calipers, rotors, shoes, rear backing plates with all new hardware, new brake flex lines, wheel cylinders master cylinder flushed fluid, 342 gears and posi unit., tires, starter, battery, alternator, mass air complete tune up new distributor new ECU, SPARK CONTROL, CUSTOM TUNE IN THE PROM new air-conditioning parts works great. Heater core which means the dash had to be removed and very hard to find and service a "steel" heater feed line that rusts out on all these cars after time... On the inside NEW headliner, visors, side speaker panels, carpet with 1/4 isolation rubber under pad its all new!
New rear spoiler...1000.00 with paint!!
