Melanson Motors is proud to offer this frame off restored, 1968 Chevelle SS 396. This is a very special car! A real Super Sport presented with its original bill of sale and protecto-plate! This Chevelle was purchased new at Parks Chevrolet in Greensboro, North Carolina on March 28, 1968. The original purchase price was $3275, and the original owner traded a 1963 Impala against this car. This Chevelle has a desirable list of options which include power steering, power brakes, bucket seats with console, rear radio speaker and more. The front brakes have been converted to discs. In 2009, the car underwent a frame off restoration using all of its original sheet metal. It was repainted in its original Seafrost Green color. Photos of the restoration are included in the sale. The black interior presents in excellent condition and everything functions as it should. The engine bay is very clean and has a period-correct 396 Big Block engine. The floors and frame are perfect and are just as clean as the top side! An excellent opportunity to purchase an original Super Sport 396. This is a stunning, collector quality 1968 Chevelle SS!

It is a Mulsanne Blue example with blue cloth bucket seats. This Monte Carlo is a rust free example that has received one repaint. It is offered out of long term ownership, having been with its last mature caretaker for 20 years! This Chevrolet is powered by a strong running 454ci engine. The engine has brand new aluminum roller rocker setup. Power is sent through a TH400 Automatic transmission. The rear end is a 10-bolt Posi. The original style interior presents very well. A Classic Auto Sound AM/FM radio has been installed and auxiliary gauges are found under the dash. The paint is very good and the body is straight. This Monte has power disc brakes on the front and drums on the rear. It also has power steering. The car rides on 15†Cragar S/S wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.

The Chevelle originated from South Carolina and was just treated to a new complete restoration on the rust-free original panel body. Super straight body and a highly detailed restoration with nothing overlooked. The 396 engine was upgraded with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and a Holley 4bbl carb, headers were added and a full dual exhaust, so this Chevelle sounds great and runs awesome. The Turbo-400 transmission was just completely rebuilt. The rear end is 3:55 gearing. Power steering and power disc brakes. The bumpers were replaced with new ones and all the other chrome and trim on the car is in excellent condition. Interior was also completely redone with new headliner, carpet and seat upholstery. New Rally rims and new BFGoodrich Radial T/A's. Many new parts were installed for the brakes, steering and suspension systems, including control arms, ball joints and bushings. The factory AC was updates with Vintage Air components and works perfectly. This '69 Chevelle must be seen to appreciate the quality and extent of the restoration. Melanson Motors is proud to offer this 1975 Ford F250 Highboy. It was during the fifth generation that the F250 4x4 “Highboy†was introduced. Highboy was not a specific model or official designation, but it became a well known nickname for 1967-‘77 F250 4WD models. These models had a divorced transfer case. Therefore, a factory suspension lift was required to provide clearance for the transfer case and front driveshaft. This made the truck sit higher and gave it a very tough factory lifted look. This F250 is a real F26 VIN, ¾ ton, 4-speed, 4x4 Highboy. This truck was born at the San Jose, California plant with a Pacific Canada DSO. The truck spent its whole life in Western Canada. The truck has a strong running rebuilt engine, stroked to 390 cubic inches. It has headers, an aluminum intake and Holley 4 barrel carburetor. The 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly and the truck drives well. The 4x4 works. The truck is presented in its original color of Vineyard Gold. The paint is showing its age and has many flaws. A 2WD box has been installed and the truck has a custom aluminum tailgate and back rack. The interior has been restored and features new carpet, dash pad, seat and door panels. Underneath, the truck is very solid and shows no signs of rust. The truck rides on 16 inch aluminum wheels with 265/75 BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2 tires. The transmission is a TH350 3 speed automatic with a Lokar shifter. The rear end is a Ford 8 inch. The rear suspension is a 4-link with coils. This hot rod has power disc brakes on the front and drums on the rear. The undercarriage is nicely detailed and painted. The exhaust system is stainless and features Pypes M-80 mufflers. The body is a fiberglass reproduction with candy red paint. The tan convertible top is completely removable and in excellent condition. This 1967 Pontiac Firebird was built the 2nd week of May at the Lordstown, Ohio plant. Notably, this car was special ordered in Coronado Gold which was a spring order color only. It was a very rare, short production color in 1967. It was also ordered with a 326 cubic inch 250 hp V8 engine, automatic transmission, front disc brakes, power steering, center console, electric clock, tilt steering wheel, power convertible top, pushbutton radio, rear seat speakers, custom seat belts, Safe-T-track rear axle and Red Stripe tires. This Firebird has been the recipient of an older restoration performed between 2002 and 2004, which shows very well today. Restoration receipts and invoices are included totalling over $13,000. The car also comes with other paperwork including an original body broadcast sheet, PHS documents, reproduction window sticker, original owner’s manuals, and judging sheets from the 2004 Trans Am Nationals. The car was judged in two classes and scored 84% and 97%.
It is presented now with 25,000 miles on the odometer (documented as 125,000 actual miles). The car starts and runs very well. The transmission shifts smoothly and with power steering and disc brakes, this car is an excellent cruiser! The paint and chrome show very well with only minor flaws. The black interior is also in very good shape. A modern Kenwood AM/FM radio deck has been neatly installed underneath the passenger side dash. The power convertible top is in excellent shape and functions as it should. This Firebird rides on 14 inch Rallye II wheels wrapped in Dayton Red Stripe Radial tires. An excellent opportunity to own a well documented 1967 Pontiac Firebird Convertible.
