We're a 4 piece rock band (late 20s and early 30s) looking for an experienced keys player with their own gear and preferably the ability to switch between piano, e-piano, organ, and synth when appropriate.
We are currently playing covers of a wide range of rock music from the last 40 years or so. Originals are slowly being introduced. We've been playing for about 9 months, so it isn't exactly a start up operation.
The ability to adapt to key changes and learning by ear is definitely an asset, but we are able to assist with chords etc…

I would like to focus on metal/alt (Knocked Loose, Gojira, Thornhill, Turnstile, Loathe, Currents, Basement, Every Time I Die...), broadly RnB or Indie ( Hiatus Kaiyote, Anderson .Paak/Free nationals, Khruangbin..) or whatever you might want to experiment with! I play drums, piano/keys, guitar, bass, and starting vocals. I definitely bias towards metal or jazzy Rnb genre/songs, but I am quite open to what works in the setting.

We should share good news, if we find a good spot to go to or even if we find a good restaurant, with great food, etc.etc.etc. My son and I, found a new spot on Mountain Grove and Guelph Line, in that small plaza, that was really nice (facing Guelph Line). I played some games there with my son, which I have not done in a very long time. Seemed to be different ages, younger and older, playing games or just hanging with their friends, and I did not have to tell my son to get off his cell phone even once (huge bonus). Very nice, friendly atmosphere and was told just recently opened a short time ago. Have been there a few times now.
