14 year old ex broodmare "Ruby", no reason she cannot return to that work
-not registered
-genetics available
-was green broke
-chunky girl, 15.2hh unsticked
Videos: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1GEjYgoKSrMfRCzBFDR_OQuEAqdoHy2I8
My intention was for her to be a family riding horse. She has been lightly started but not been backed consistently so listing as a restart project, she hasnt been backed since summer. She needs consistency, she was intended for my kids and husband to ride/work with but she is more of a one person horse, needs that bond to develop trust and because of this I'm casually open to parting with her. She also isn't thrilled with the rest of my herd who are young fiery horses.
-stands well for farrier, but does require a slow hand
-UTD on deworming and farrier
-bottom of the pecking order
-more easily caught with treats
-requires a quiet slow handler, it's all about trust and calm with this girl
-no required maintenance, benefits from a probiotic
Easy keeper, has grown quite a fluffy winter coat but is lightly blanketed. No grain or maintenance, barefoot.
She very willingly lunges, and happily free lunges. This also has helped in very windy weather when she's reluctant to be caught, she will free lunge for a bit and then approach to be brought in. She does not like cross ties and is more comfortable on a secured lead. Farm sounds, bikes, snowmobiles, kids, tractors, nothing phases her except wind and she is nervous of new people.
Our indoor arena is out of use and I feel like I'm doing her a disservice having her on a less structured routine in the winter as she does like having a job. She also would thrive more in a herd with other more relaxed horses. Listing to see if there's a more appropriate home for her. I'll continue to work with her and will keep her as a personal trail horse if one cannot be found.
PPE welcome, I cannot help with trailering. Open to trades, I'd love another mustang, lightly started at minimum.
Located north of Barrie, lunging videos available in Google drive link above.

Fetlock Farms
7412 Russell Road, Vars, Ontario, K0A-3H0
Small, private, adult only, east-end stableAre you ready to ride in a relaxed, friendly environment of like-minded supportive adults? Would you enjoy nice easy trail rides, solo or in casual groups and the option for quite time in a private arena, no stress, no fuss? Just you and your horse. Take a lesson if you want, or don’t. Hack out, or school inside.
Think your gelding would enjoy being one of 4 in a large field, with natural shade, trees and a pond? Would he enjoy room to roam and just be a horse?
If you are a non competitive, “just want to spend time with my horse without judgement” owner of an easy going gelding, then come for a visit and a chat! We’d love to show you around.
We are looking for 1-2 additions to our little private stable. Maybe you and your gelding are just who we’ve been looking for!
Our facilities:
• East end of Ottawa– easy access – Russell Road – near Navan, Vars, and Carlsbad Springs (10 mins from Mer Bleu & Innes Rd in Orleans, 8 mins from the Boundary Rd exit off the 417).
• Indoor arena with excellent sand footing.
• Heated tack room with adjacent cross ties (excellent little area to bring your horse in for a break from the winter).
• Indoor toilet.
• Field boarding with large bright run-ins, with half the fields being a wooded paradise with ponds.
• Stalls available for emergencies.
• Trails on our 150 acres, with adjoining trails in the Cumberland Forest. You can hack for about 3 hours without repeating trails.
• Treed pastures with ponds. Our ideal boarder is:
• A mature rider - 30 years or older.
• Relaxed and competent horseman/woman.
• An independent rider who is comfortable riding on their own as we will have only 8 boarders (4 horses per field).
• Owner of a quiet horse that has no vices and is easy to handle.
• Must integrate with the herd (4 horses per field max ) – no individual turnout. We are fortunate to have an excellent coach, but you may bring your own.
We feed quality hay, grain & vitamins and have excellent grass pastures.Board is $390/month.
No smokers, no children, no dogs please! For further information, please call/text Christina 613-809-3467 or email at Tina@Olaveson.ca

Gizmo is one as of this January. He is a cute little guy who responds well to being held. We have enjoyed having him in our home but he is proving to be a lot of responsibility for our 11 year old son and we are ready for him to move on to his next adventure. He comes with a new 40 gallon tank as we recently upgraded him. Lights are included on top. His tank is set up that there is no maintenace or cleaning required. It is its own ecosystem. Sadly we have to rehome our holland lop bunny Benny. He is 3 years old and a great bunny! He is shy at first but comes around. He is good with our dogs and cat and would really enjoy a bunny friend in the future. He is not neutered. He is free roam in our house and will come with his enclosure with all his belongings and any extra food, hay, litter box bedding and extra fleece blankets for his enclosure. We are located near Orangeville on. I will be asking for a small adoption fee of $40 to ensure he goes to a good home as we care very much about him. I would also like to know what his home will be like to ensure it’s a good fit. Again he is a great little guy and we are sad to see him go. Message me for more information

We are looking for the best home for our 6 year old Paint Mare (not registered) who stands at 15.2. A real beauty, smart, good for ferrier, first to the gate. In great health, just had vaccines and teeth done. Beautiful mover but was trained by a green rider and needs some good training and a confident rider to move her along.
Does well is .8/9 jumper could go anyway as she is very smart but she is strong willed, so further training a must or take her as a pleasure horse as she is.
This horse is amazing and we are only selling as rider is going away to University. Only the best home will be considered.
Please only ask for price discussions and videos if serious and have read the above.
Located in Fergus where she is boarded at a great facility if you want to keep her there she loves it.
Will come with her custom saddle and her blankets.

9 month old tortie for rehoming.
Born march 8 2024
Tortie (Toni) does not mind being held/picked up for short periods of time. very playful as well. A ball with a bell in it absolutely is her favourite toy. Loves pets and attention and will frequently lay beside you curled up in your lap as well.
Toni has been mine since birth. For a short period of time she did find a home but was later returned to me after a month as her home could not accommodate her any longer. I have been searching for a home for her since. She is a wonderful cat and deserves all the best love and a forever home.
Mother (Cleo: loves attention and cuddles) shown in the last two photos is also looking for a home as one of our dogs has developed an allergy to cat dander and in order to free up some of the allergens in the home we have decided to rehome the cats. They have also been up for rehoming since May this is the fourth ad posted to help find them forever homes. Looking for absolutely serious inquiries only.
no adoption fee is needed they are free too good home. However if you would like to make a donation in an amount of your choice to help care for the sister that may remain behind just to ease on cost to care for them while I am treating the dogs ear allergy that would be much appreciated but it is not mandatory nor is it required. Again these cats are free to good home for serious inquiries only
