I work with people who are tired of living their lives on a diet and being unhappy with their bodies. Through personalized intuitive eating and body image counseling, I teach people to fully nourish their minds and bodies — without strict diets and food rules. You can learn to tune into your hunger and fullness cues, trust yourself around all types of food, and free your mind from obsessive, restrictive thoughts about food.
Forget the days of being trapped in a chaotic cycle of restricting food, overeating, feeling guilty, and then restricting even more. We’ll help you develop long-term, enjoyable habits around food and movement so you can live a happier and healthier life.
How it works?
I’ll take the first half of this initial session to get to know you and your relationship with food and your body. We will discuss your past and present experiences, and dig deep to understand the origins of your unwanted eating and body concerns. Then, we’ll talk about your big picture goals, what success will look like for you, and identify specific areas of healing that we’ll work on together in future sessions. You’ll walk away from this initial session with clear steps to start making positive changes to your mindset and behaviors.
Follow-up Sessions Each Month
In each follow-up session, we’ll discuss your progress, work through any barriers, and introduce new strategies to help you move towards your goals. These strategies may include tuning into hunger and fullness signals, mindful eating, managing cravings, learning to cope without food, and understanding nutrition guidelines. I will personalize my approach to address the specific concerns and issues you are working to heal.
