Starting a community no dig garden
Description
I have a few acres and am looking to start a no-dig garden in about 1 acre of the property. I have taken courses from Charles Dowding (homeacres - charlesdowding.co.uk) and am ready to start seedlings next February/March. I have no lived experience with a garden, not really. I have perennials on my property but have never started a brand new garden or tried to produce food. I'm looking for someone who is willing to split the work to get it going, help with weeding and maintenance, staking and fertilizing and composting... the whole nine yards from seedlings to reaping the spoils. Maybe you have experience but no land to grow on? I would give a healthy portion of whatever we grow in return for this help, so you can feed your family with food you've grown and not feel at the mercy of rising fresh produce costs. I'm committed to the no-dig raised bed approach due to an auto-immune disorder but also because I really believe it's a way to get the most out of the garden from season one, and make it enjoyable. I prefer to work with someone or a family who are relaxed and happy to embrace this vision which could be experiential in year one. I don't want to be super stressed that it isn't producing much in the beginning as there are no absolutes.
