Information Management Architect
Description
Randstad Technologies is currently seeking an Information Management Architect for a contract opportunity with their public sector client in the Ottawa area.
Identify user requirements by researching and analyzing user needs, preferences, objectives, and working methods, study how users
consume content, including data categorization and labeling, meet with focus groups.
Plan information architecture modelling by studying the site concept, strategy, and target audience, envision architectural scheme,
information structure and features, functionality, and user-interface design, create user scenarios, prepare data models, design
information structure, work and dataflow, and navigation, evaluate information representation, and conduct creative meetings.
Organize information using user behavioral patterns and introducing them into structured environments, craft interactive experiences,
produce workflow diagrams, user scenarios, flowcharts, and storyboards, prepare interaction specifications for solution
elements/components, navigation rules, organization of information, and site maps, coordinating with business, technology, visual,
structural, editorial, cognitive, and brand strategists.
Implement information architecture through electronic diagramming and interactive prototypes or mockups including visual and contextual
layouts and navigational elements, integrate site concept, visual design, writing, interface, and navigational structure, document structure
and processes.
Validate information delivery by developing and completing usability test plans, content mappings, evaluate patterns of use, study user
feedback, coordinate with subject matter experts.

Responsibilities
Conduct electronic solution technical design and usability activities by supporting component integration research to determine use case
scenarios and design options.
Investigate client requirements for content and structure of information deliverables and develop requisite standards for content assembly
in multiple media or environments that address client business requirements.
Build a user-focused understanding of the underlying content structure of the information types they must produce and develop standards
based on those structures.
Instantiate business rules into the structures to support user-adoption and encourage compliance (governance).
Create structures that promote finding and reusing content in multiple contexts, including metadata schemes to label content appropriately
Qualifications
At least 10 (ten) years of related experience.
Ability to obtain Federal Government Security Clearance
