RED ROAN QUARTER HORSE

Meet Copper — a handsome Qh, red roan gelding with a big puppy-dog personality and a heart full of potential.
Copper stands approximately 14.2 hands. We did not receive papers when we purchased him, but were told he is around 7 years old.
We purchased Copper two years ago as a green horse, and since then he has spent 60 days with a trainer and has been ridden regularly by a 14-year-old rider. He has been introduced to Western gaming, has done some trail riding, and does very well riding out with a buddy or solo. Copper gets along great with other horses and is easy to have around.
He confidently walks, trots, and canters, and has a few buttons established and requires additional training to reach his full potential. Copper has a huge motor, plenty of energy, and a naturally athletic build, making him a fun prospect for someone looking for a horse to develop.
Copper is barefoot, stands well for the farrier, is up to date on vaccinations, and recently had his teeth checked. He is an easy keeper with no maintenance. He Trailers well and eats and drinks on the road.
My daughter is looking for a finished barrel horse, so Copper is being offered as a project for an experienced rider or trainer. He has a good foundation, a willing attitude, and the potential to excel in a variety of disciplines with continued training.
