Property Maintenance & Caretaker – Year-Round (Collingwood, ON)
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Property Maintenance & Caretaker to oversee a private home in the Collingwood area on a year-round basis.
This is an ideal position for someone who is organized, proactive, and takes pride in keeping a property well maintained.
Responsibilities include:
Regular property inspections to ensure everything is in good condition.
Monitoring the home during all seasons, particularly through the winter months.
Identifying maintenance issues before they become larger problems.
Coordinating and overseeing contractors, tradespeople, and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
Scheduling and managing seasonal services (snow removal, landscaping, etc.).
Assisting with opening and closing the property for the seasons.
Coordinating the installation and removal of docks and ensuring boats are launched, stored, or serviced as needed.
Being available to respond to urgent property issues when they arise.
Maintaining clear communication with the homeowner and providing updates on the property's condition.
Qualifications:
Experience in property maintenance, home management, or a similar role.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and projects.
Basic knowledge of home maintenance systems.
Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
