Rottweiler Cane Corso Mix

Description

Sadly need to rehome my dog and would like to be as transparent as possible in order to find the best home for him. I love my dog but am not equipped to properly care for his breed.
He is 7 months old and a cane corso-Rottweiler mix. He is weary of strangers and not good with children, therefore I will not rehome him to a house with young children. He will need a home with an active lifestyle and decent space.
He is smart and loyal, but will require work.
He knows commands such as sit, lay down, paw/other paw, roll over, and can easily learn more commands. He’s been taught “wait” for food and heading out the door, and “go on” as a release word.
He knows what the word ‘heel’ means but will require more training to not pull on walks.
He is trained to relieve on puppy pads.
He is up to date on shots, but not yet fixed (experts now recommend waiting until growth is complete.)
He has been seen by the mildmay vet clinic.
He is ok with crating when needed (as long as it’s not too long)- but you will need a new crate for him as the one I have got a crack in it.

He is a good dog, but stubborn and strong. Please only bring him into your life if you are prepared to love him forever and work with him. I believe he has a lot of potential and will make a wonderful friend and protector for the right person.
