Husky/ Malamute pup needing a new home due to a family tragedy
Description
Due to a death in the family this beautiful boy is needing a new home.
He is gentle and loving soul, who is very sweet, affectionate, playful and likes to stay close. I can tell he will be incredibly bonded to whomever is fortunate enough to have him as their forever companion.
He is a black and white, pure bred male Siberian Husky /Alaskan Malamute 12 week old pup, looking for his new loving forever home. Sadly, the family that was going to take him just had a death in their family and they had to leave.
He has had his first shots, de-worming and checkup.
He was raised in a family home on Hornby Island, where he has been well socialized with adults, kids and other dogs. He has been well loved and a part of our pack 24/7 since he was born. He is so happy, well fed doesn’t have any fleas, tics or parasites.
He will come with a bag of puppy food to transition to what you will feed him, a couple of toys, a clicker and a few other things.
Because many people don’t research the breed, yet they get them because they are absolutely adorable, and those people aren’t always prepared to raise a little house wolf, which results int the pups getting rehomed or end up in shelters.
Because of this, all interested owners will need to answer a few questions first, to ensure that it is a good fit. It would break my heart if he got shuffled into the system.
I can deliver him to Nanaimo or Courtenay, or you can come and enjoy a day on Hornby, meet the pack and pick up your pup and maybe go on a beach stroll with the pack.
The Parents:
- Tasha is super smart, alert, loyal, affectionate, vocal, strong willed and sassy. When people meet her, they all comment on how sweet she is. She is the leader of the pack here and an amazing momma.
- Marco is a total love dog and a real-life teddy bear, kinda like Ferdinand the Bull. Every person, even when they don’t like dogs, falls in love with him. He is happy and trusting and he will immediately lean into you for love if you let him. He is so gentle, yet so strong and loves to play; balls and tug toys are his favorite and can run crazy fast.
Both parents are very healthy, have all their shots and get regular vet checks and are very well behaved, happy, loyal with no anxiety or aggression..
Huskies have different fur that regular dogs and they don’t smell bad, even when they are wet, unless they just rolled onto a dead sea-lion. They do however, shed all year and 2x’s/year they have what is referred to as a 'blowout' and they seriously shed. Just note: If you have a husky, your home will never be fur-free again. Huskies are generally non-territorial, very loyal, silly, demand respect, love all people and children, are amazing escape artists and the worst guard dogs ever.
Please ask as many questions as you like.
Thanks, Shakti
