This is a great time capsule that you can get in and drive anywhere. It recently passed the out of province inspection and everything works right down to the clock and key buzzer.
This car was parked for 40 years of its life in a garage. Nothing is faded, cracked or dried up. The rubber is still all soft. The chrome is excellent. Body and floors are solid. Interior is very nice.
The paint looks decent in photos but there are some scratches, marks and bubbles (not rust) here and there on the car that are visible when you get up close. There has been some minor dent repairs done in the 70s and as a result the drivers fender and passenger quarter/door were repainted. The rest is original paint. There is a spot of the driver’s fender about the size of a fist where paint has bubbled and chipped off. There is a small dent on the hood near the front edge.
This car still had the original tires and rad hoses when I got it. The original rims and hub caps in great condition come with the car.
