Kohl - Photo #1
2012 Black QH gelding – Approx. 15.3hh.
WTC. Goes English & Western. Great on trail rides – has been used for trail riding clients. He has some experience jumping small courses but was used here more as a trail horse. Kohl would be great for an intermediate rider in a program. He has three steady gaits but sadly doesn't have a rider at this time. He has been out of consistent ring work & requires some fine tuning of the aids. He is very passive and is middle of the pecking order. Easy keeper – lives out 24/7 without grain. Respects electric fencing . UTD. Currently barefoot but does best with front shoes when in consistent work.
Ruby - Photo #2
2006 Chestnut QH mare – Approx. 15.3hh
Great on trail rides – has been used for trail riding clients. Able to WTC but due to an old injury she does step short at the trot, for this reason she is being sold as a trail mount or broodmare only. She has always lived outside, is an easy keeper, no grain when on good hay. Ruby isn't as happy in a barn - she prefers to be outside to be groomed and tacked. She is still manageable but had always been an outside mare. She is low on the pecking order in a herd. Respects electric fence. UTD. Barefoot.
Lily - Photo #3
2013 Chestnut Purebred QH mare – Approx. 15.2hh
Lily has spent the majority of her life at a trail riding facility out west and came to Ontario when the hay shortage happened a couple years ago. I do not have her papers though. She is well broke and requires little maintenance but is coming back off a full healed injury so requires a full restart. She isn't top of the pecking order but close to it. Lily would be great for someone wanting a brood mare or trail horse. Not suitable for beginners. Lily is a very sweet mare but does have one fault. She was fed for most of her life on the ground in a large herd. This has made Lily very possessive of her food. Do not disturb her when eating her grain. Over all she is a very nice mare though! Lives outside 24/7 – easy keeper. Respects electric fence. UTD. Barefoot.
Morning Glory “Glory” - Photo #4
2004 Black Canadian X Mare - Approx. 15hh
WTC. Jumps a 2'3-2'6 course with ease – very brave. Goes English & Western. Great on trails – has been used for trail riding clients. Shown local jumpers with solid places, regularly Champ/Reserve. Was used in our drill team. Has been out of consistent ring work for the past year & requires some fine-tuning of the aids. Used in novice/intermediate lessons. Lives outside 24/7 – easy keeper. Respects electric fence. UTD. Barefoot.
Rudy - Photo #5
2011 Bay Standardbred X Gelding – Approx. 15hh
WTC. Jumps a small course – very brave. Goes English & Western. Great on the trails – has been used for trail clients. Very sweet gelding who would make a great all-rounder mount for an intermediate rider. Lives outside 24/7 – easy keeper. Respects electric fence. UTD. Barefoot.
