Shoes are new in the original box, never used, and come with the shoe bag and all original paraphernalia. Size is European 43. Paolo Bettini is one of Italy's most adored champions. Winning the gold medal at the 2004 Olympic road race, as well as the 2006 and 2007 World Road Race Championships. He retired after the 2008 season, prompting Sidi to produce a World Championship version of their Ergo II carbon shoe to commemorate his distinguished career. These shoes were a gift. I wore them on a trainer a few times to try them out, otherwise they are new. My feet do not lend themselves to Sidi's fit unfortunately and I have been unable to bring myself to sell these until now because they are just so beautiful. It is silly to hold on to them, so I am finally selling them. These shoes were $500 when new and as a collectible I have seen them priced even higher on eBay (when the odd one appears).
