1990 FORD E150 SUPERVAN - RUNS GREAT - EPIC PAINT JOB
Description
LOCATED IN TOFINO.
Reluctantly selling my pretty girl only because I’m leaving. Runs like a dream.
Since buying it in June 2020, I have replaced:
-4 new tires (all season)
-spark plugs and wires
-water pump
-heater core
-fuel pumps
-fuel filter
-air filter
-ignition coil
-upper rad hose
-vaccuum hose
-new distributer cap and rotor
-thermostat
-coolant temp sensor
-coolant flush
-cleaned throttle body
Has a rebuilt engine about 100 k or so ago. Gauge reads 336 k I believe. So approx 140k on new engine.
Epic paint job. Minimal rust including the underbody. Mechanic very impressed with how good she’s lookin.
Breaks are good. Has adjustable airlift suspension in the back.
Mini roof rack on the top.
Extra inclusions:
Large cargo roof racks (still in box, haven’t installed)
Queen Mattress
Camping stove
Pots, cutlery, plates
Coffee maker
Chilly bin
Space heater
Large electronic cigarette port charger
Fairy lights and other battery powered lights
Fabric for curtains
Large Tupperware bins for storage or surf gear.
Lived in it all summer - was perfectly spacious, and took me camping across the island. Planned to rebuild and drive to Baja but summer zipped by, moved into a house, and now I’m leaving, so unfortunately need to sell.
She’s a blank canvas for all your unemployed-free time-camper-rebuild-creative-dreams to come true, or makes a luscious longboard surf wagon.
Chairs and recline back. And make the worlds comfiest road trip chairs.
CONS:
-driver window doesn’t go down, but there’s the swivel smoker windows and passenger window works (easy fix apparently)
-radio recently stopped working ( I think there’s just an unplugged wire, I just don’t know how to fix that myself and haven’t bothered taking it to mechanic for it)
-carpet is a bit stained
-recent leak through back door, probably just a new weather stripping will do the trick.
*That’s it for now as I had so much recent work done, so she drives lovely.
** Fun extra content: I have heard a handful of murmurs that its the “coolest looking van in Tofino” **
Selling for $5900 OBO. I have put minimum $3000 into it since owning it. According to my market research this is a reasonable price for a well working van of this style.
Leaving end of Jan, text or message. 1 (250)-726-6941
Thank you thank you thank you,
