Christina's EQUINE ASSITED LEARNING
Description
Certified since 2020 Cartier curriculum.
At CHRISTINA's it’s our mission to provide a fun and safe environment conducive to learning. We strive to make a genuinely positive impact on everyone we meet.
Equine Assisted Learning involves a series of unmounted horsemanship activities that are often completed individually or in a larger group setting.
There is a focus on problem-solving and teambuilding and character growth.
Using carefully selected horses, with a strong EAL curriculum, it makes for a powerful, professional and effective approach, proven to have a positive impact on individuals of all ages.
In a beautiful outdoor setting under large trees these activities can be enjoyed from spring till fall.
How?
By including horses in specially-designed experiential learning exercises, equine-assisted specialist/facilitators are able to observe non-verbal communication of the horses and be a translator as well as a guide to encourage the learner to attain the outcome of each exercise.
With a 12 week program running from Spring to Fall each year.
Sessions are 60-90 minutes long and happen weekly or bi-weekly.
Starting rate at $55 per participant in a group setting.
Ages 5 and up.
Individual of group sessions.
Welcoming family groups as well ... a great way to learn how to function or communicate better as a family unit.
