Spend the Season in Waskesiu
Grey Owl Center is seeking an experienced Carpenter for full-time seasonal work in Waskesiu Lake, located in Prince Albert National Park. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on construction, independence, and a lakefront national park setting. Accommodation is provided.
Work Overview:
Work will focus on residential construction and renovation projects. Duties may include:
* Wood framing and structural carpentry
* Interior finishing and trim work
* Exterior finishing/detailing
* Metal cladding installation
* General residential construction tasks
* Working independently on assigned projects
* Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe
What We Are Looking For:
* Residential construction or general carpentry experience
* Strong framing and finishing skills
* Metal cladding experience is an asset
* Ability to work independently
* Valid drivers license
* Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
* Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
Journeyman certification is welcome but not required. Practical experience is most important.
