We had babydoll/Southdown lambs born here at the farm! These lambs are a smaller heritage bred of sheep that make a great addition to any Hobby Farm.
Today they received their Vaccine, selenium shot, they had their tales docked, and one little boy got banned to be wethers by our awesome Vet!!!
One of the Moms is (possibly) a Babydoll Mix that was bred by a Babydoll.
My ewes are not “registered” therefore the price of lambs reflect that.

There is no better egg than a farm fresh egg. Out on Fairview Acres we are dedicated to making sure our hens live a proper healthy lifestyle by mimicking how free birds live in the wild. Our hens have access to fresh food and water along with the nutrients mother nature provides. They have access to the out doors 24/7 during the warm tempature throughout the year. During the cold season they are put in a coup and we add fresh bedding weekly. Eggs are collected daily to insure they are as fresh as can be. 5$ per dozen. Will sell fertile eggs for 10$ a dozen

I do not have mixed ducks, but they are not separated so the ducklings may be mixed. Indian Runner, Cayuga, Pekin, Rouen, Ancona, and Khaki Campbell. My Rouen is 4 years old so her eggs will probably not hatch with artificial incubation.

Who are we ?
Where to start? What a journey! We are the Robillard family. 7 years ago, we moved from Quebec to PEI to start a farm on this beautiful Prince Edward Island. We had plans, but no idea where it would lead us really! We moved and lived in a Tiny House on wheels with our 3 young kids on a vacant field surrounded by water and forest, in Launching, Cardigan.
First year, we planted an edible forest. Trees take time to grow, so better start with that! Second year we started our strawbale house. By the meantime we started having animals. Our small farm and homestead was off grid.
Regenerative agriculture and permaculture was our approach and we were rapidly attracted by hardy breeds. We got our first Mangalitsa wooly pig and Belted Galloway Cattle.
Wild Legacy Farm was created! A family operated farm for the community! Pastured in nature by nature!

Our chickens:
We have a mixed pen (blue azure, austra white (olive egger), orpinton, and rhode island blue) however we are transitioning fully to Speckled Sussex pure bred and testing some Rhode Island Red cross with Speckled Sussex. This year they will be 3/4 speckled so they will have mottling (speckles) showing. They are a beautiful, hardy, friendly breed that doesn't roam too much and the roosters are very friendly. They are winter friendly and have small combs. Highly recommended for those looking for dual purpose birds for their homestead.
