4 bedroom / 3.5 Waterfront House for Rent in Rice Point

Perched atop the iconic cliffs of Rice Point, this oceanfront home is a truly special place—one that has been deeply cared for and enjoyed. With direct beach access via staircase and sweeping coastal views, it offers a peaceful, restorative setting that we hope to share with tenants who will appreciate and look after it as their own.
We will be temporarily out of province and are seeking conscientious, reliable tenants to occupy our 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home during that time. The ideal lease term is 6 to 9 months, with a preferred start date approx mid-September to October 1, 2026 (we have some flexibility on both start and end dates, with an anticipated firm end date around May 31, 2027).
Located on a paved private road set back from the main road, the home is just a 12-minute drive to Cornwall and 20 minutes to Charlottetown by car. The home is thoughtfully maintained and well-equipped. Two rooms are currently configured as home offices but can easily be converted into additional bedrooms if needed. Features include a detached garage with Level 2 EV charger, in-floor heating on the main level, a cozy wood stove, basement exercise equipment, and a greenhouse for those who enjoy gardening. There is also a large deck perched on the cliffs (sometimes referred to as the "wine deck"), completely sheltered by wild rose bushes, where you can soak up the sun while feeling miles away from everything (hammock available!). The setting is also beautiful in the winter months with views changing daily and wildlife continuing to make appearances.
Rent is $2,750/month and includes fiber internet, water, driveway snow removal, and lawn care. Inclusion of electricity can be negotiated (the house is heated with a heat pump and supplemented by a wood stove). House comes fully furnished. Pets may be considered on a case by case basis.
We are looking for tenants who value and respect a clean, well-cared-for home and can appreciate the natural surroundings.
