Welcome to the Dunster Dingo Family! Deeply satisfied to find unbelievable homes and matches for Micky and Taz.....They are both in their new homes! I am happy to help rehome adult heelers or find new owners, networking with other breeders and we have had some fantastic success.
I care deeply about every dog I’ve bred, past and present. Even years later, I stand behind them when stuff happens and make sure they’re looked after if life takes an unexpected turn, I have their backs as long as they are alive. I am bringing these lives in to this world and am super conscious of following up. I am now happy to announce that a FANTASTIC Dunster Dingo Stumpytail Male name Flint (Minny's brother) has sired a SUPER litter of Texas Heelers with Daisy a gorgeous and super mellow Aussie Shepherd. I am pleased to assist the owners in matching their beautiful pups with their owners and destinies. Pups are 2 weeks old July 15 and will be awesome little guys for work, outdoor companions and hobby farm family dogs. The first pictures are Flint followed by Daisy. The pups sell for $1200, both dogs are unpapered but pure bred of their respective breeds....See Photos I am very motivated to help the owners, am not a middle man at all, if you contact me I will immediately forward you on to the couple who live in the Cariboo country, happy to help my friends and our dogs.

About Our Dogs
Our dogs are known for their exceptionally friendly temperaments, remarkable intelligence, and unwavering loyalty.
Australian Cattle Dogs truly are one of the best all-around breeds. At approximately 40–45 pounds, they have the confidence and capability of a much larger dog while remaining compact enough to fit comfortably in your truck, boat, ATV, or SUV. They eat relatively little, are easy to care for, and form incredibly strong bonds with their owners.
They are fearless when necessary and can be excellent protectors. In particular, I believe they make wonderful companions for single women living in the city or anyone who spends time hiking or camping in bear country. I’ve personally witnessed several of my dogs chase bears away—or tree them—without being injured.
These are high-energy dogs that require daily exercise. They excel with hikers, runners, bicyclists and active owners, and can seemingly go all day.
Over the years, I’ve placed dogs with cattle ranchers, hobby farms, agility competitors, scent detection handlers, and other working homes. They have consistently exceeded expectations.
This upcoming litter comes from two proven working bloodlines with outstanding temperaments.
About the Breed
My dogs are Stumpy Tail Australian Cattle Dogs.
Most puppies are born with naturally bobbed tails, although some are born with full-length tails because the bobtail gene is recessive.
Historically, Australian breeders introduced a naturally bob-tailed British shepherd into the cattle dog bloodlines to reduce the tail injuries common when working rough cattle imported from Indonesia.
Over a century ago, roughly half of heelers had full tails while the other half were naturally bob-tailed. The Stumpy Tail eventually became recognized as its own breed after being revived during the 1960s.
These dogs retain many dingo-like characteristics. They are exceptionally intelligent, loyal, humorous, and intensely devoted to their people.
Because of their energy level, they are happiest with room to run and plenty of activity. A country home is ideal, although committed active owners can also be successful.
My Philosophy
I screen potential owners carefully because I care deeply about where my dogs go.
Out of well over 100 puppies placed, I’ve only ever had one returned. Theo came back after three and a half years because of unforeseen family circumstances. His owner was heartbroken. I picked him up personally and found him a wonderful new home within five days—with the family who owned his mother.
I’m also actively involved in helping rehome adult Heelers, so feel free to ask if you’re interested.
To me, this isn’t simply about selling puppies—it’s about building a family. Many of my clients come back after losing a beloved Heeler because they simply can’t imagine owning another breed. I’ve also had the privilege of introducing many first-time owners to the breed and genuinely enjoy mentoring them.
When you purchase a Dunster Dingo puppy, you become part of our extended family. I offer lifetime support, advice, and guidance whenever it’s needed. Breeder Inquiries welcomed, I am passionate about introducing and establish the StumpyTails.
I’ve owned one or more Heelers for over 50 years.
While I wouldn’t claim to be the world’s foremost expert, I have decades of practical experience with training, health, behavior, and the breed itself. I’m always happy to share what I’ve learned.
My primary goal isn’t simply to sell puppies—it’s to place each one where it truly belongs.
There is never any pressure or obligation. If we talk for weeks and you ultimately decide not to purchase a puppy, that’s perfectly fine.
The best placements happen when someone genuinely falls in love with the breed and is fully committed. So far, that approach has served both my dogs and my families very well.
Health
The bloodlines behind these dogs come from several reputable breeders who have health tested their dogs and found no significant hereditary health concerns.
These are exceptionally hardy, healthy dogs that commonly live 15 years or longer. In my experience, I’ve encountered very few health issues beyond the occasional injury.
Each puppy comes with:
• Veterinary health examination
• First vaccinations
• Deworming
Puppies will be ready to go home mid-September.
