Percheron X Belgian Mare
9 yrs old, 16.1hh, about 1700lbs.
Broke to drive and almost done it all. All kinds of field work(plow, disk, harrow, seed, cultivator, manure spreader, rake hay, haul squares, skidded logs, etc), sleigh rides, horse pulls, and fairs. We've tied young horses beside her to train them. Driven team mostly but also driven single, 3 abreast, and lead in 4 up at fair. Never been ridden, but could be with training. Good with feet, trims free hand and also been hot shod free hand. Has raised foals and is excellent mother. Arrangements could be made to breed her this spring for cost of stud fee and associated costs.
