Casual or on Call Caregiver Required

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide support and care to an elderly couple on a casual basis. The caregiver will work two or three 24 hour shifts as needed. it is an asleep overnight position
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving, with a focus on senior and dementia care. We require someone with excellent communication skills and flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through attentive and respectful care.
A driver's license is required.
Duties
• Assist the individuals with personal care including showering, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with transferring using a ceiling lift. Training is provided.
• Provide medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
• Support patients with meal preparation and eating as needed.
• Driving the couple to church, appointments and shopping.
• Provide light house keeping
• Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to coordinator.
• Document care in a daily journal.
