We need help moving a granite slab during an evening, tba. 4-5 strong, well mannered guys would do it. This will take no more than an hour committment. It needs to be set into place on an island, no seams on the install and no dropping the slab on my husband while he sets it. Although not necessary, if you have experience installing stone countertops, that would be an asset and can be discussed ahead of time. There is one flight of stairs to be considered.
If you are equipped and looking to start an installation company, we will consider a quote from you as well. We like to support the little guy when we can. This would slightly change the details I've laid out so please give me your phone number to contact you by if this is the case.
Note!!: (Because one seems to have to cover one's own butt these days.)
If you have tendency for injuries of any kind or could seek problems, have a history of doing so, or simply looking for an opportunity to be one, please refrain from replying to this ad. We are a family needing help with a simple task. We are not an employer and do not compensate for "workplace injuries", psychological issues and legal matters. If you agree to help us out, you are agreeing to not hold us responsible in any way at any time for any kind of damages to yourself and your property. We hope to enjoy each other's company and get a quick chore completed in harmony.

If you do not have a genuine love for dogs, this is not the place for you. It is physically demanding and mentally challenging. We are seeking someone mature enough to understand and accept the responsibility of caring for other people’s “children”.
This job can be a lot of fun and very rewarding but it is not just sitting around and playing with puppies all day. The dogs need to be cleaned up which includes handling a lot of poop and pee. They have to be fed the right food and given the right medications. You will need to be organized and be able to remember who gets what and what dog belongs to a client. You will have to remember all of the dog’s names and behaviors.
Cleaning is a major part of every position at the daycare. If you get ill at the idea of cleaning up vomit and diarrhea, this is not the job for you. You must be able to pick up 40lbs. You will also be on your feet for the majority of the shift.
Interested applicants should send a cover letter and resume to playtime@barkparks.ca
